Definitely this project stumped me originally with ideas. Especially trying to figure out what I wanted to do with the concept or teleporting between different worlds. The idea honestly hit me when I was brushing my teeth because on my mirror I have a bunch of photos of my friends and loved ones. I thought that it would be a fun idea or concept to act as both a vehicle to use animation and to move between our real world and this photo fantasy world. My plan for this video is to have someone who is currently struggling to keep up to date messaging their parent, with bunches of mixed messages. The person (Who will be played by me which is horrifying because I don’t have a single acting chop in my bones) is apathetic or currently just not in a head space to respond so they just keep ignoring. They eventually start their day getting ready looking at the mirror and photos of their loved ones. The photos start shaking (Or something to draw weird attention to them) and the photos change from real life into the animation. The person picks them up looking at some of them as they show emotional scenes of family members. Eventually the person grabbing a large family scene and noticing their thumb can go through the photo transporting into the animation photo world. The person gets emotional seeing their family and realizing they shouldn’t be ignoring their family, finds a photo of the real world and goes back. It ends with the person responding to the messages from their mom and giving them a call.
